Is it true that AES-128 consume less ressources than 3DES ?

How it is possible since the two are 128 bits base encryption algo ?

I cant find this reference in the checkpoint student book and it seems that some questions of the exam are on this subject.

Yes.

Hi

AES 128 consume less than 3DES, because AES-128 is 128bits whereas 3DES is 168bits (3*56).
