Default 156-310.4 (CCSE NG AI) exam

Hi, this morning I pass it!

A lot of thanks to this advice
Quote:
1st things first:
There is not enough time for this test.
98 questions in 90 minutes does not seem like a stretch but there are many exhibits in this exam, and many lengthy multi-answer questions.

If you can’t answer a question straight away, select the best answer, mark the question for review and keep it moving.

Make sure you read up on VoIP, not just H.323 but SIP as well. I had more SIP than H.323 but know both it inside and out. Know SR and Secure Client like the back of you hand also, many many questions dealing with Secure Client. The current SR client R56 doesn't apply so use common sense when asked about option with in the SR software that is relevant to this exam. (R55 client)

On the Subject of CAs know all the options that NG AI offers and is compatible with in terms of external CAs, distributing Certificates, ICA, and moving from pre shared secret to Certificates.

UFP, CVP, URI and content security servers are covered but the questions are straight forward. If you have experience with Checkpoint then these questions will seem like give away questions compared to sections covering VoIP.

I skipped several questions that I thought I would have time to come back to later and still managed to pass with a 75%; a lousy score when you take into consideration that I was just clicking questions towards the end b/c time was running out. Passing score is 69%

I purchased the Boson CCSE test #1 after speaking to the author directly. The exam is good for drilling test format style questions if you are not used to taking test. But on the down side the questions he asks in the Boson test are straight out of the book and regurgitate sections rather than ask comprehensive questions like on the actual CCSE test. I recommend ordering the Checkpoint Management II CCSE NG AI courseware book, don't waist your time on other resources. There is allot of into on the net for the old 156-310 exam. This is good to know but not relevant to NG AI.

There was only one question that I thought was unfair and that was relating to load balancing and what solution to choose when you have identical hardware distance, etc.. I choose round robin but load balance would have done the job also.
Good Luck!

After good searching in the Internet found next useful links
http://rapidshare.de/files/2796445/A....395q.pdf.html
(first 98 questions - very similar to 156-310.4 test, other from old test)

How I was prepared:
1) Official course (CP NG AI Management II) + labs
2) 6 month very hard experience in system integrator company.
3) VMWare labs (2 site: FW Server + SCS server) - very help me
4) Online docs: VPN, VoIP.

Let's go toward NGX cert!

Hi

I am prepairing for CCSE NG AI. For the last few months I am reading about VPN, VOIP, Content security etc. I reed the PDFs provided in the Checkpoint s/w CD instead of reffering books. I want to know is this enough for exam. I also went through dumps from certkiller, that gives 400 questions. But many a questions in that I found too difficult to be known by reading books. Also I want to know are there also questions from " Backup and Upgrading from previous versions". I havnt gone through it yet. And if its in the course how deep do i need to go in this. Please help me as I will be appearing for exam next week.

Thanks

Hi Friends

I have cleared CCSE.

While prepairation, I reffered pdfs available along with the Chkpt s/w cd. I also went through the dumps mentioned above (in the saem thread). Many a questions were from that. Other than that I found many questions from SCV and VOIP, no questions from CPMAD, upgrade. Light questions from content filtering. There were also many senario based questions. Questions from high availibility were confusing. Strong prepairation is required from Securemote/secure client VPN. there were 98 questions in 2 hrs. Multiple choice questions were there but along that it was mentioned in the question itself, that how many are correct. So...

GUD LUCK..

You can't book the CCSE NG AI exam anymore, so do the CCSA NGX and CCSE NGX
