Hi, Am new to CCSA. I have just finished my CCNA and wanted to take a firewall examination. 1) On checking about this exam, there are two diff versions...156-215.1 and 156-215.65. Can someone tell me whats the difference between the two. I know it's R60 and R65, but what about the syllabus...Is it the same. 2) Can anyone suggest me a good book to help me get thorugh CCSA (whatever version that may be)... Thanks in advance Regards Prabs

COuld you please tell me if CCSA 156-215.1 means preparing for R60 rather R65? I am reading material from checkpoint website and it is R60. This request is very urgent as I have booked the exam. Please confirm me if i need to go through R65 study material from checkpoint or R60 will be suffice?

hi all it seems that amol is the caretaker for everything.i felt this on his different posts.he has started his ccsa many months back and till now didnt finished yet.And he says its very tough to get ccsa.It seems that its for him CCSA is tough and blaming that its a certification which needs lots of exeperience and brain to have.as far as i am concerned, i have finished CCSA with 1 1/2 months ,it is a simple certification whom can take if he has understanding capabilities..i have read the pdf thrice , done the practicals and also gone through the practice exams. So dear friends dont get upset by the words of amol and go on with ur studies.also i have seen amol blaming on of the guy for booking his exam b4 his studies.everything depends on the individual and not on amol.who is he to blame someone for booking the exam b4 studies. So amol i beg u to take care of ur things and if possible post some good things and not need ur advice here.if u cannot give some tips then u go on with your studies and dont blame anyone for anything and respect individuality

But let me tell u dear that i am learning on my own and i haven't joined any classes.I have my book and read-only console to help me.Since i am studying on my own it is taking time. Also i am not only learning but questioning what is the logic instead of only learning what is being told. And as far my experience goes , i did the same for CCNA - i gone beyond ccna syllabus and then while preparing for CCNP it was too easy... So its better to take ur own time and study properly , rather than finishing it off just to add 1 more certification under ur belt. Quote:
