Hi, I am looking for documentation for the 215.1 exam. I found this => http://www.checkpoint.com/services/e...ngx_sample.pdf which is a sample chapter but I dont know from which text it comes. It seems very good and would like to find more. Any Ideas. (BTW this is my first post here so bear with me if I step on any toes). Thanks!!!!

DH82C, The sample chapter is from the Checkpoint Security Administration NGX I course handbook. http://www.checkpoint.com/services/e...ngx/index.html I don't think you can order that particular courseware from Checkpoint. You will have to go on the course at an ATC. ATCs seem reluctant to sell courseware only if they can get you to book the full course. AFAIK Checkpoint don't allow them to sell certain courseware materials.

Thanks. It kinda sucks (without the kinda) that I am having a hard time finding materials geared towards 215.1 I am used to the Comptia/MS type materials where the info is available at a level of detail suitable to the exam. Thanks again for your reply

To be honest knowing the courseware contents isn't enough when sitting the CCSA and CCSE exams (well it wasn't for the NG AI CCSA / CCSE - and I doubt they've changed the format much for NGX). I sat both the CCSA and CCSE on NG AI and used the following resources:- 1. CCSA Admin course (2 days) 2. Read the coursware throughly (You kinda skip through it on the course) 3. Used the help files on the test boxes I had. 4. Downloaded all the Checkpoint docs .pdfs from Checkpoint. 5. Used the SYbex book:- http://www.sybex.com/WileyCDA/SybexT...782141153.html and finally 6. There's no substitute for real-life hands on experience. I was lucky that I was managing 8 FWs across Europe. If you want to pass the exam don't rely on the course / courseware alone. HPT and good luck. Joncon
