Default Another question !!! : )

Which SmartConsole tool verifies the installed Security Policy Name ?

A)SmartView Status
B)Eventia Reporter
C)Smartview Server
D)SmartUpdate
E)SmartView Tracker

Tk says answer is "E" but I can't see the policy's name in SmartView Tracker, only in SmartView Dashboard....

Hi robori,

I've been thinking about this question too. SmartView Monitor is not in the option.

If we look at the at the information field of the SmartView Tracker logs we can see entries with axample below:
(But Am still not sure if this would justify the answer)

Number: 10
Date: 19Oct2002
Time: 18:37:10
Product: VPN-1 Pro/Express
Interface: daemon
Origin: California_GW (192.7.100.2)
Type: Control
Action:
Information: sys_message: installed Standard

My gateways are R55 and my Manager is R60. I can't see this message regarding the Installed POlicy name. Humm.. could be.. but , anyway, it's more likely that on Testking it's missing the SmartView Monitor option among the answers... right ?

Thanks

Hi there,

Given that Monitor in not an option...and if it was it would be the obvious answer. Opening an entry from the Tracker/Firewall/Policy Info section will display the current policy loaded on the gateway(s).

Tricky question, but yes "E" is it.

Another ways;

1.If you did't install any policy recent time, double click any last log and examine record detail. Policy info section is display your needed data.

2. In Smartview Tracker Audit Tab, last "policy installation" log of subject column is display your needed data.

Ahh !!! Okay !!

Now I found it, hehe ! Sorry..!

So, the answer, in the lack of SmartView Monitor as an option, is SMARTVIEW TRACKER, indeed !!!

Thank u all.
