How to configure the SMS alert in Checkpoint

I met a problem, the problem is how to configure the SMS alert in checkpoint. I think we need write a script to perform the SMS alert, and configure the script in the global properties---log and alert---alter command.

is it right?

use an e-mail alert if you can (e.g. 5555551111@vtext.com).
Otherwise yes you are in the right place to configure scripts

I'm sorry are you talking about Microsoft SMS or Cellphone SMS (Short Message Service)?

If the MS SMS, just ignore what I said.

there is no out of box support for sms.
If you want sms either use email alers sending it to your mail->sms account or use the user defined pointing to the shell script that talks with your operators sms gateway.
