Hello, I failed the CCSA NG w/ AI exam. I took the Check Point Management I and II courses and purchased the boson exams. Gotta say, I thoroughly understand all the concepts and have conducted duties as the firewall administrator for a year. I failed the exam with 68%, but felt confident I only missed a few of the questions before ending the exam. I'm retaking the exam tomorrow and still feel as confident as when I did before I took the exam. I'm befuddled really. __________________ Very respectfully, issdragon0 (CCSA) Vulnerabilities are gateways unto which threats manifest -- Stephen Northcutt

Lol. That makes me feel better. Thanks With all that said, it kind of leaves the exam validity open to scruntiny doesn't it? __________________ Very respectfully, issdragon0 (CCSA) Vulnerabilities are gateways unto which threats manifest -- Stephen Northcutt

I doubt the validity of ANY vendor exam. They tend to have to be too wide and not deep enough. I've been deploying FW1 sense 1995 (The Sun OEM version) and about half of what they ask on the exam I've never used in production. It's the same for Cisco, Sun, Veritas...

I passed the exam this time, scoring 10% better than last. After studying again after the first failed attempt, there were some changed answers (obviously) to allow me to pass. I am amazed of how many questions are exactly the same as the boson practice exams. I guess after a certification has been around for awhile, the true questions become wide spread. I plan to take the CCSE in about a week. If we ever upgrade to NGX, my course instructor stated that reading the NGX user guide should enable me to pass the fast track NGX certification. Lets just hope it doesn't cost me $300 to get another cert! Lol. Until then, and after passing the CCSE, its CISSP time. __________________ Very respectfully, issdragon0 (CCSA) Vulnerabilities are gateways unto which threats manifest -- Stephen Northcutt
