Default Client Authentication only prompts for login using http? Bug?

Hi,

i have set up client Auth using NXG database and then LDAP, both times i can only Authenticate using HTTP even if the other services are defined in the rule. it wont prompt for login and they wont work, unless I Auth with http first then all allowed services work. I am using standard sign on with partially automatic.

I’m using a 15 day evaluation version, is this a Bug or is that how client Auth is meant to work (only authorize with http)?

Thank u !

That's how it works. Partially Automatic Client Auth uses the services supported by user Auth (telnet, ftp, http, rlogin) for the initial client auth login - once you've authenticated using those services, then the Client Auth process works for all services.
