Audit Mode : Log Viewer

Hi All,
I am reviewing the Audit Mode logs and have come across the following entries that puzzle me :-

Administrator General Information
localhost Authentication method:

only entries marked as Administrator=local host have the Authentication method given as blank. I can only think that this some automated/system event, anybody else got any ideas? thanks
