| Experts, again back with a ques, infact the probklem which I am facing. Currently IPSO's snmp deamon runs on port 161 and Checkpoint's snmp deamon runs on port 260. Wondering if it is possible to modify these utilities so they both can be queried on the same port instead of tracking on two separate ports. I have heard abt proxy snmp. from what IPSO and checkpoint version onwards this snmp proxy is supported ? is it by default enabled ? any help highly appreciated. Munit |

| You've been able to do proxying for as long as I can remember. It is enabled by default. You just need to query the right part of the MIB to get the CP results. You could have answered this yourself by looking at Nokia's KB (first result for proxy SNMP), or by running snmpwalk. |
