RADIUS NAS port type

I'm using Microsoft ISA's RADIUS server to authenticate VPN. My gateways are successfully communicating with the RADIUS server, but they're not setting the "NAS Port Type" attribute.

My old VPN box would send a NAS port type of "Virtual" and my Windows admin would prefer not to remove the NAS port type from the RADIUS policy. Is there some way to get my gateways to send a NAS port type as part of the authentication request?
