Authentication Services are unavailable. Connection refused. If you see this message when trying to authenticate a user via http, telnet, ftp, or rlogin, most likely this is because the appropriate security server is not enabled in $FWDIR/conf/fwauthd.conf on the firewall module. If, for instance, you are wanting to authenticate HTTP, look for the line that says: 80 fwssd in.ahttpd wait 0(In FireWall-1 4.1 and earlier, 'fwssd' isn't part of the line)
If the above line does not exist or is commented out, edit the file and add the line. You will need to restart the firewall for this change to take effect.
