Default How Do I Use This Firewall-1/VPN-1 FAQ?

Hello Fellow Check Point Users,

Here's how to use the Check Point Firewall-1/VPN-1 FAQ:

Each FAQ (Frequently Asked Question) appears in only one of the categories. If there's a topic you're looking for, browse in the most likely one or two categories. If you can't find it that way, then use the very powerful search function.

Registered users can post messages in individual FAQ threads, but can't create new threads. The idea behind this is to preserve a bit of a gatekeeper functionality for the Administrators. Please submit your proposed FAQ's in the forum labelled for candidate FAQ's. We'll review them and move them into the appropriate categories.

Please help us to update and improve the existing FAQ's. The best way to do this is to copy the entire FAQ and then paste it in a reply within the same thread (don't use the "Quote" function). Then edit and improve the FAQ and post it with the same title as the original. Don't like what you see in an FAQ? The best way to criticize a posting is to make a better posting.

The discussion board will retain all previous messages within a thread, sort of like a wiki.

I'm hoping that by using this method of continuous improvement, the FAQ's will get more accurate and more helpful over time.

Thanks,

Barry Stiefel
