I'm not saying it's a growth stock. Nor am I suggesting that a buyout would be advantageous to CHKP customers. What I am saying is that the company is a cash cow with solid revenues. If it were to be bought out, the purchase would significantly increase the stock price.
Furthermore, I'm convinced that it can't go on like this. Even if it doesn't get bought, it would have to improve its situation. I highly doubt that it would continue to let its situation worsen much farther.
