Default Re: Exporting Logs to Linux syslogd

Using an NT4 box for your mgt station isn't really recommended. If you could switch to a Linux installation, that might be a lot better. How to forward FW-1 logs via syslog to syslogd can be found in the forums. Just search for syslog.

On Windows it's a real act and you kind of need to engineer it. What you'd need to do is get ahold of a logger like utility that will push the syslogs out. You might try installing cygwin and running it from there. But, since NT4 is end of life and not supported by Check Point, you're much better migrating to another platform.
