Hi there,

I have similar problem at our site. The FTP over SSL fails with similar symptom. It looks like the session is timeout while waiting for response from the FTP server. I finally figured out that it is the "FTP Bounce" protection being enabled in CheckPoint's SmartDefense feature. I resolved the issue by changing it to "Monitor" from "Protect".
