I'm not quite sure how the routing protocol will affect the performance.
The routing protocol will be used to update the routing table. Presumably this is not changing all that frequently. When the kernel goes to route packets, it will then look at the contents of the routing table - it's not going to query the OSPF/BGP processes. |
