Default Hardware required for new installation

Hi all,

We have this really old (bought in 2001) Check Point firewall (CPFW-FIG-25-NG ~ Description: FireWall-1 Internet Gateway for 25 IP address) which we want to upgrade as soon as possible.

I don't have much information about it, but the OS runs on:
SunOS firewall 5.7 Generic_106541-06 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-2

and:
bash-2.03$ echo $FWDIR
/opt/CPfw1-41

Now, we have been paying for a Software Subscription license ever since we bought it, which, if I'm not mistaken means we are allowed to download and install/use the most recent software covered by that license. (Please correct me if I am wrong there.)

What I am wondering about though is what hardware I should purchase to run SPLAT on. Since it currently runs on that really old Sun machine, I'm thinking I won't need some ultra-performant system, but still, I would like some input there. Do I need a dual CPU system? A lot of hdd? How much RAM would be recommended?

Thanks,

Kevin
