SPLAT is OS. Smartconsole is client, isn't OS, isn't log server. It's only soft client.
Default, SmartCenter is log server. If you want separate Log server, you need separate license first. When you install CP on the server, you need to check option Log Server (from menu with 3 points, Primary SmartCenter, Secondary SmartCenter, Log Server) and etc etc. |
