I was able to get this working. It was a combination of checking the monitor only - no protection within SmartDefense for FTP Bounce and using one rule with FTP-BIDIR as the service. Normal FTP doesn't work. Even if you make an inbound rule to allow >1023 to this device. 'ANY' also does not work when set for the service. You have to specifically assign one outbound rule with FTP-BIDIR as the service.
