got it working. ended up making a connector as the one I used had a wire crossed for some reason. So.....
normal cat 5 cable from Lantronix SCSxx20 to DB9F
pin 2 -> pin 2 RX
pin 3 -> pin 3 TX
pin 5 -> pin 5 gnd
other ones are not required. |
