Error compiling policy after SmartDefense Update I´m using NG AI R55 HF12, on top of a Windows NT4 SP6a. In a distributed environment. I was using Smartdefense until a update on 08/18 broke my policy compilation and installation. This is the history: 1-Updated Smartdefense with 08/18 revision; 2-modified objects and/or rulebase; 3-applied policy to modules; 4-here it says: "c:\winnt\fw1\r55\lib\updates.def", line 467: ERROR: function identifier <png_block> redefined compilation failed 5-I got this file and removed a duplicate entry defining png_block; 6-reaplied policy, now succesfully. But every time I change the name of the policy, or create a new database when revision control is activated, the error comes back. I don't want to edit updates.def forever, so I ask for your help on what to do ? I have read the HFA-15 of R55, but it did not even talk about smartdefense. I´m thinking on these alternatives: 1-Install HFA15 on R55; 2-reinstall FW; 3-reinstal FW and not use smartdefense; 4-upgrade to NGX. Can you give me others ? What can I do else ? Thanks in advance!
