I agree you do require additional licenses, but, in my experience NG and NGX licenses are independant of platform.
I have on many occasions installed a check point license which in the usercentre is labeled as IPSO onto a windows or SPLAT system i.e. when upgrading a management server from nokia to SPLAT - I didn't adjust the usercentre info until after the hardware transfer - no issues todate with the licenses. __________________ Quote: | There's always a reason for everything - if I wasn't such a BOFH I'd read the manual! | |
