I forgot to mention my problem :)

My Intel Chipsets do not work with e1000 V. 5.2.52, only with 6.1.16 or newer. So currently I have the choice to work with a single-cpu kernel on a Xeon system or to use the multi-cpu kernel and a really fantastic firewall because of no working NICs ...
