update - configuration as described is now working properly. the fix/solution to the reported problem is to basically create the same exact group name (case sensitive) in the connectra and assign it the specific ldap group DN of cn=VPN-Users, cn=users, dc=mydomain, dc=com
the above solved my problem and i hope this post helps others with the same and/or similar issues. |
