 Re: URGENT - No login into newly installed Eventia Reporter
As I recall from my last job where I set up ER R62 distributed (but on Server 2003), I had to launch the ER client from it's own icon and connect to the IP of the ER box. I also had to use cpconfig to set up an identical admin account on the ER box itself.
Windows > Eventia Reporter will not work with ER. It only worked prior to SmartView Reporter R56 as I recall. R56 was when they switched to MySQL.
You must install the database on the ER box manually. If it does not show up in the list of things that you can install the database on, that's the first place to start troubleshooting.
You also need to set your IP on the ER box as an allowed GUI client or use "any" for troubleshooting.
