I need to dump out the security policy from a Solaris 8 Management Server prior to an upgrade (we're running 4.1).

I've downloaded the upgrade_export utility for Solaris from CheckPoint, but am not sure where to install it.

I'm also not sure how to run the command, but have used it before on Windows, so I'd guess it wouldn't be too difficult.

If anyone has any ideas, has done this before, I'd like to here from you.

Thanks,

Dan
You're upgrading to NGX??

My understanding is that minimum version to export config to NGX is NGFP3 onwards??? 4.1 and below is too old to upgrade_export??
