Confirmation from the Product Manager and the Licensing Manager. The CPMP-EVAL-NGX-EVAL does include 30 days of updates to anti-virus and anti-spam, as well as the features. This was just tested by the PM and it did work. The Licensing Manager confirmed that is also how it works and not a fluke.
I have asked for confirmation on SmartDefense updates and I will let you know what's going on there as well.
