Cause

Upgrade utilities downloaded from Check Point Next Generation Utilities download page for VPN-1/FireWall-1 NG with Application Intelligence R55 are not compatible with IPSO 3.8

Solution

Use the upgrade_export/upgrade_import tools that are pre-installed with VPN-1/FireWall-1 NG with Application
Intelligence R55 for IPSO 3.8. The following are the location of these tools:

$FWDIR/bin/upgrade_tools/upgrade_export
$FWDIR/bin/upgrade_tools/upgrade_import
