Re: How to shut down CP Integrity Agent IAS 6.5 for example has two password that can be deployed on the endpoint. 1. Installation password 2. User password The first is used to provide for silent installation, upgrades and reconfigurations making managment of the endpoint transparent to the end user. The second is to prevent the user from being able to view the security policy and make configuration changes....and to shutdown the client. This 2nd password is the prompt you are receiveing. It is generally set in the client package, Installation parameters in Additional parameters using the keyword NEWUSERPASSWORD=password. It is not set by default. It may also be set from the command line. If not recorded it is generally forgotten. |
