The stability problem occured in the way that VPN-1 Edge ADSL appliances lost their ADSL connection exactly after 1hour 16min. Other symptoms are known. The log file reports a loss of the DSL sync connection and the Edge appliance restarts the DSL line. With older firmware Edges might sometimes reboot randomly. Upgrade to firmware 7.0.33a for ADSL and DSL modem firmware SW2.0.6ab_pri.firm

VPN-1 Edge ADSL/Industrial appliances require another firmware than regular VPN-1 Edge appliances. The most recent version currently is 7.0.33a. The libsw libraries you mentioned are only used on the SmartCenter Server for compilation of the firewall policy to the EdgeConnector. The EdgeConnector provides the compiled policies to the Edge appliances. The libsw libraries are only required if you manage your Edge appliances centrally. It's recommended to use the libsw version that equals your firmware installed on the Edge appliances.
For ADSL models there is also a firmware for the integrated DSL modem available. The most recent version is 2.0.6a. Use the workaround provided above to improve line stability.
