I think something gets screwed up when your doing the install. Like a file don't get written cleanly to disk. I have a test lab setup. When I do an install in the lab, first thing I check now is access via the gui. If it's a problem, I reinstall, and I'm using the same piece of equipment and I'm using the same cd. It just seems that sometimes I get a good clean file copy routine that writes to the drives correctly and other times I don't. |
