Default Licensing Issues

Hi eXperts,

one of our customer said that he could not install a policy because of "no valid license". I am not aware of CP licensing. The customer installed the following licenses onto the management Server:

CPVP-VEE-U-3DES-mgmt-NGX CPMP-CXL-HA-U-NGX

CPMP-VFF-U-NGX CPVP-VSR-1000-NGX CPVP-VPS-1-NGX

And installed this one on the Security Gateway:

CPMP-PPK-1-NGX (this is the license for the performance pack)

I suppose that the license below should be installed on a Security Gateway, instead of installing it on the Management Server (SmartCenter Server):

CPMP-VFF-U-NGX CPVP-VSR-1000-NGX CPVP-VPS-1-NGX

What do you thing about that? The Security Gateway seems only to have a Performance Pack only. This is definitely not enough.

Another question coming into my mind:

In the license string: CPMP-VFF-U-NGX CPVP-VSR-1000-NGX CPVP-VPS-1-NGX
you see a license for 1000 SecuRemote, and the string VPS stands for Policy Server. So, is it sufficient to install a policy server license with SecuRemote instead of SecureClient? I do not know, if there is particularly a SecureClient license in existence or not.

Thank you in advance,
Yasushi
