 Inbound/ Outbound Rate question
What is the result of setting "Inbound" and "Outbound" Rate at Gateway Properties/Topology/Edit Interface/ QOS ?
For exaample if i set the rate fot Inbound/outbound to 10 Kbps , does this mean that the gateway will never allow traffic to go above this limit ?
When i set Inbound/Outbound rate both being 50 Kbps then the Floodgate is limiting all traffic to around 100 Kbps. ( according to SmartView Monitor ). However it IS limiting the traffic. If I set the Inbound/Outbound rate to 100 mbps , the traffic reported increases to accomodate all necessary bandwidth. Everything seems to work however it is not Precisely enforced.
The limits/ Guarantees seem to work although not precisely enforced.
