 Re: Can't install HFA04 on IP265 with R60
Hi,
I have an IP265 with Compact flash for CP packages, these ip265 have serious issues with installing any HFA.
From the research I did concerning this issue.
1. Install NGX R60, Make sure your using the flash based packages from CP.
file should be called fw1_R60_591000437_1_IPSO.tgz
2. Then upgrade to NGX R60 HFA_04. According to the release notes for HFA_04 special instructions for installation on a flash based system.
Prerequisites for Nokia IP265 Machines are
• Install the latest NGX R60 bootsrap script. Perform the installation according to the instructions in sk31660.
• IP265 Flash-based machine with an external flash (optional disk) that has been configured for type "Packages".
3. Well it's part of step 2, but I decided to add it here just in case. So before the HFA_04 gets installed you have to install the boot strap fix before HFA_04.
4. With optional disk enabled for packages.
5. At this point all we should have to do is install the HFA_04, making sure you are using this VPN-1_R60_HFA_04_wrapper.ipso.tgz
This has worked always worked for me, some people i notice have a problem doing this.
