Rayden is right. If you delete the object from within SmartDashboard, it will come up "detaching license" or something similar for a little while, then eventually it gives up on that, and marks the license as detached in SmartUpdate.

I've done it several times.

That is appalling support from Check Point - they should know better than that.

I'm fairly certain you could also use GuiDBedit to mark the license as detached.
